Dermal Fillers

At Wimbledon Dental Wellness, our commitment to 360-degree care and cosmetic dentistry has led us to offer our patients facial aesthetic treatments such as dermal fillers.

Dermal fillers can be used to help reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and other visible signs of ageing. Using the substance hyaluronic acid, dermal fillers target certain areas of the face, injecting them with the substance and leaving it looking plumper, firmer and more radiant. This in turn can help the skin appear more youthful.

Skin naturally loses elasticity as we age. This is partly because it stops producing as much hyaluronic acid, which is a super hydrator. A common ingredient in skincare products including serums and moisturisers, hyaluronic acid adds volume and firmness to the skin and can help fill in lines and wrinkles.

As with all our treatments here at Wimbledon Dental Wellness, your dermal filler experience will start with a consultation. During this consultation we will talk through the areas of the face that you wish to concentrate on. This differs from patient to patient, depending on which areas they wish to focus on, but many patients choose to treat the areas around the nose, mouth, eyes, jawline and cheeks.

Dermal fillers are an exceptionally quick and fast acting treatment. You will most likely only be in the chair for half an hour. Whilst some patients report noticing results before they even leave the practice, most patients find that the results are noticeable within a few days of the treatment.
